Re: Water heater/pump question

I don't know what you have as far as valves. Plain jane trailers just have water heater bypass valves. Unless your has more, that may be another story. But usually when you have city water you just leave the pump off and use the city water.

Re: Water heater/pump question

You only need the water pump on when you don't have access to a city water supply. You want to make sure that you have plenty of water in the fresh tank.

Re: Water heater/pump question

You only need the water pump on when you are using water and NOT connected to the city supply. The city supply will not refill the water tank. Also, leaving the water heater on unattended is a bad idea. There's no reason to be heating the water unless your using it. and if there is ever a reason the...

Re: Recommended water pressure 2015 26BHS Launch

Pex will hold alot of pressure. It's the quality of each hand crimped fitting and connector that will get you. Only one way to find out. I've never seen any water system capable of blowing thru the Pex, just the fittings that aren't quite crimped right.

Re: Bearing and Seals Numbers

There's not too many different bearings and seals out there. The easiest way is to remove a set and go by a tractor supply store. They have them in packaged kits ready to go. Modern auto parts stores have them but cannot find them if you don't have a matching make and model of a car that would use t...

Re: Friction Sway Control or Not

Oh the joys of popups. We had one and sometimes wish I had it back. First understand what sway is. Popups and smaller trailer are marketed towards beginner campers that normally wouldn't have a huge tow vehicle. Without a huge tow vehicle, a lighter hitch weight is required. Lighter hitch weight nat...

Re: Adding a hitch to the rear of my trailer

I towed double with my 5'er. The laws in Tx says the first trailer has to have a 5th wheel hitch and have brakes. Most trailers are not built with frames that allow the weight and forces of another trailer hooked to them. It's usually bigger 5'ers where you start finding this. You can do it. I doubt...
