Re: Slide topper

We ordered one on Amazon It worked great for 3000 miles then started to tear along the leading edge. Long story short- we were sent a knock off not the Lippert we thought we were getting. They fixed it. The new awning has 6000 miles on it with no problems. We ordered an 8 footer in black. The only t...

Re: 24 rls first winter

The fresh water drain is under the trailer, behind the tires on the passenger side, below the sink area.

Re: Drafty Bed Fix

We did the same thing.

We added a board cutting off the side to side storage area with the under the bed storage area. This also gives us less air flow, helps support the flimsy plywood, and prevents people from using the storage compartment as an access to get inside the TT.

Re: 24 rls first winter

My arm is long enough to reach the drain valves under the sink. No need to remove the panel. Well actually I removed the panel the first time then figured I could reach around without removing the panel ever again. The other option is to store your trailer closer to the equator like we did. No freez...

Re: 24rls Underbelly

Mine are sealed with foam.

I'd skip going to the dealer and do it yerself using the foam-inna-can with the BLUE lable. Its denser than the red or black labels.

Re: Ladder on 26 RLS Launch

The heavier of us two weighs 165 pounds. You can guess which one of us that is.

Why not add blocking inside the trailer in the storage compartment and upper cabinet along the back wall? Then screw / bolt into that? Sammiching the trailer wall between the ladder bracket and the blocking.

Re: Ladder on 26 RLS Launch

I asked them for a measured diagram. They sent one that did include the metal framing on our 2015.

Our ladder holds my weight just fine.

Re: Slideout Controller

It took a while to find the one connection that wasn't plugged in male to female all the way. Once we plugged it in properly, taped it properly, and secured it properly we made the 5000 mile trip with no problems.

Re: Slideout Controller

I thought we had seen every square inch of our TT until the slide out stopped working the morning we were to leave on our 5 week trip.

Lippert told me to look for the controller. Took me an hour to find it. Ours is in the same spot.

Sure enough, the codes told me what needed to be done.
