Re: Roof platform
I personally can't think of a good reason to do this haha... You might look into putting up ceiling support pieces that are used to support the trailer roof when adding air conditioners on top... Something like this google photo... Space several a couple of feet apart across the inside ceiling of yo...

Re: Fredricksburg va
Sorry no one from here has responded to your question... Fredericksburg has a KOA just south of town but it is usually filled up with transit type campers. The camp sites are pretty tight as well... There is another small camp site north of of town in between I95 and US1... It is a nice camp gorund ...

Re: Adding a hitch to the rear of my trailer
If it was me i would add one of the Idaho Tote Platforms attached to the rear frame of the 5th wheel. These used to be not considered a trailer but an extended attachment to the 5th wheel. Not sure what their status is now. I don't think they are legal in all states but alot of them... Being attache...

Re: Fredericksburg va
This is close to our Home place so really haven't camped much in Fredericksburg. Have camped at the AQUIA PINEs and Fredericksburg KOA. Both are good access from I95... The Aquia is located between I95 and Route 1 and is very loud truck traffic... The KOA is a standard KOA which has people coming an...

Re: Dollywood - Which campsite in the area is best?
We have visited the Smoky Natl Park alot over the years and like to stay inside the Natl Park. ELKMONT CAMP is where we stay... We are not a big fan of crowded places and crazy driving through the towns... Elkmont Camp has lots of tree cover and close to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. ELKMONT has a tro...

Re: Photo for Roy
That is a nice trailer Yeah, I like it too. I probably would have went with a popup, but I have to have a stand up shower with some hardside to feel secure. A friend of mine down in ARK has a high wall POPUP (Forget brand and name) but it has hard shower enclosure walls that goes into place after s...

Re: Photo for Roy
Sure wish there was a way to get more STARCRAFT user activity on here. I hang out mostly on the JAYCO OWNERS FORUM and the POPUP PORTAL FORUM which has a great turn out of users... I sometimes run into someone with a STARCRAFT RT Series OFF-ROAD Popup trailer. Guess we are a dying breed hehe... My t...

Re: Rookie Mistake / Awning
I had the problem one time of not slanting down one side enough to keep the rain water pouring off the awning. It ended up pooling in the middle and I could not even open the door to get out. I managed to get the door open enough to use a brown to push up on the awning to it to pour off enough water...
