I also have that same type antenna on my rig and I don't have any problems getting TV stations. Since your TT is new, I would have the dealer check out the coax wiring to make sure everything is connected.

I would make the minor repairs myself rather than have the dealer keep it for a lengthy period of time. You might check with your dealer about how long the repairs will take. If you do decide to take it to the dealer, give him a detailed written list of what needs to be done. Then they can't say "yo...

If you hold the switch until the jack hits the upper or lower limits the fuse will blow. Try releasing the switch a little before the limits are reached.
