We have a 2015 Launch 24' and it came with a Denver mattress of some sort. We've added one of those 3" foam toppers and it's great! You might look into that option.

We are also former Forest River owners. We had a Vibe as our first camper. It was nice, but tiny and the bed was set up above a storage space so we had to crawl up into it like an over-the-cab bed. We traded up to a Launch 24RLS and LOVE it!! It's the perfect size for the two of us and our two furba...

We've made reservations at Beaver Lake Campground also in Custer. They have several pull-through full-service sites and the site we have is at the end (so a bit more private) and looks into the woods according to their site map. We just purchased a Rand McNally RV GPS, but I will definitely also dow...

You might suggest he contact the Better Business Bureau. They will contact StarCraft and it's my understanding that they are required to respond. Or send a letter to the CEO of StarCraft. We've done that before on a different issue and it does get a response.

Does anyone recommend options for routing information? We're getting a Rand McNally GPS, but I like maps and want to pre-plan everything possible. So, is there a site like mapquest specifically for campers?

Yes, we have screening over our vent, too, but that didn't seem to have any affect on the heat/melting.
