State Park Campgrounds
Thought I would see what folks have to say about camping in state parks in their area. I guess we were spoiled by the state park campgrounds in Indiana where we used to live, keeping in mind we have a 30' travel trailer. We were used to electric at sites, water at many sites and even sewer hookups a...

Re: Lippert Electric Jack Replaced
Thanks for the info about the Husky jack. I think mine is still working ok, although I did run into a problem last weekend. I was at the place I store my trailer and needed to move it to a different spot but didn't have my battery with me. I store it in my garage at home over the winter. Anyway, I h...

Re: Outdoor quick connect to Coleman grill?
I replumbed my Coleman to run off the outside propane connect on my Launch 24rls last year. I removed the Coleman regulator and saved it. In fact, I've hooked it back up a couple times for non-camping. I did run into a problem finding an adapter and fittings that would work with the Starcraft outsid...

Re: Added 120 VAC outlet above sink
When I replaced the jack knife sofa with swivel recliners, I moved the 30 amp ac junction box over to the other side of the rear under the counter. Then I installed a marine type outside connector for it. My 30 amp cord is now a removable cord. That left my original 30 amp opening, which I now use t...

Re: False Alarm on Forum Closure.
Yes, thanks for paying to keep it up another year! If we Starcraft owners want this board to stay online, we need to support it by posting and replying - not just checking in to see what's new. And I'll be the first to plead guilty.

Re: Show-off your Launch
Don't know how a wall mount A/C would perform in a trailer with tent ends, but my previous trailer was a Jayco 185RB. It had a Frigidaire 8000 Btu Wall Mount A/C. We loved it. It was nice and quiet and seemed to have plenty of capacity to keep the trailer cool. I've always wished manufacturers would...

Re: Brake Controller advise
I agree with Dave. You can't go wrong with the Tekonsha 90195 P3. That being said, I use the Primus IQ Proportional Braking System Model 90160 (also made by Tekonsha). It is more basic, a little less money and goes for $95 at etrailer.com. I had a cheaper brake controller once. I never could get it ...

Re: WD system for AR 18QB
Not sure if you are including anti-sway bars when you say WD system, but anti-sway bars help a lot with sway caused by trucks on interstates. I've used my Camco Eaz-Lift Elite Weight Distributing Hitch System Model 48054 (Vertical Hitch Capacity 1,400 lbs and Gross Weight Rating 14,000 lbs) and a Ca...

Re: Squeaky Floor
GargG - I'm confused about the floor diagram you mentioned for your trailer. Are you saying the plywood or composite flooring is screwed directly to the metal frame? In other words, no 2x2's or anything in between the flooring and frame? I did try to use a stud finder to find something to drill into...
