Re: Mattress Options??
We also added a 3" memory foam topper to ours. My wife keeps saying we need the Sleep Number mattress they make for RV's. I guess we're spoiled by the one we have at home. It is great being able to adjust each side separately with a wireless remote. But I notice the ones for RV's are 11" thick. Besi...

Re: 24RLS Slide Controller?
If the controller isn't inside the furnace enclosure, then I would look somewhere else that would be accessible between the slide out and the battery on the hitch. For example, inside the shower access panel, inside the bath sink panel, maybe even the under bed storage area. It would have to be some...

Re: Garmin RV 760 LMT
I don't have any experience with the Garmin RV 760 LMT, but I did buy a Good Sam (Rand McNally) 7735 RV GPS in January. It had a ton of great RV type features. But the problem was it just wasn't bright enough, and I finally gave up and sold it on Ebay. Fortunately, I still had my Garmin Nuvi 55 LMT....

Re: AR One battery issues
If you're going by the battery monitor in the trailer, 2/3's means you are at about 12.2 volts. 1/3 means you are at about 11.8 volts. A fully charged battery usually reads about 13.2 volts with the charging source removed and no load. If you check a partly depleted battery being charged with a good...

Re: How long does it take to cool YOUR unit? Ours 10-12hours?
Thanks tslarson. That's good to know about the divider coming loose. We seem to always find the worst roads to travel. Sometimes I open the door and expect to find half the cabinets on the floor. In fact, our main floor is squeaking pretty bad again. It was successfully fixed under warranty, but I s...

x2 on pressure regulators. Cheap ones ($15) restrict flow as well as pressure. Good ones ($50) retain flow while limiting pressure.

Re: City water connection
Just got back from 3 weeks camping in Ashby, MA. This was my first trip using a new "whole house" residential filter, the kind with a replaceable cartridge. I've always used the blue Camco throw away filters, but they usually only lasted a month. The new canister came with a standard white filter. I...
