Big Rig

Discussion for all discontinued or other model RVs. Don't own a Starcraft? That's ok, we'll let you sit around the fire too.

Went to Black Creek Outfitters in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday and bought a new Jackson Big Rig. Ready to try it out.

If you are into RV TRAVELING and all those expenses that goes along with that and money is no object then go for it...

Sure is way out of my money boundaries haha... I can make 450 miles on one tank of gas in my setup hehe...

We are avid TENT CAMPERS and now have a 2008 Starcraft 14 R/T OFF-ROAD camper. We enjoy RV CAMPING within a couple hundred miles of where we live here... Maybe staying out for a week somewhere creekside way back off the trail somewhere... The VA and WVA wooded State Line border behind Harrisonburg VA is a great spot for us. Have TENT CAMPED and RV TRAILER CAMped up in the area many time...

Just never got the urge to be a RV TRAVELER.... We meet up with our family some at Myrtle Beach LAKEWOOD Resort usually in SEP/OCT every year. One of my sisters and her hubby travel alot all over the country pulling their hugh MONTANA Fifth wheel. They live in Illinois... When we meet up with them in SC they are wore plum out from being on the road... They sleep the first couple of days on the week's visit haha...

Not my idea of having a good time...

We ponder towing the Jeep Wrangler behind the TT.

Then the urge passes.

That seems really inefficient and a hassle.

Big Rig

Thought I'd post this for the fun of it. There were several rigs similar to this with side mounted cars at the campground we stayed at in Florida over the winter. If you're wondering how these guys get their cars down, they hire a flat bed tow truck to get them on and off. I guess that's what you do when money is no object.
