After spending half an hour searching that site and pulling my hair out, I didn't find anything of value.

I'll keep looking

Go search http://www.jaycoowners.com . I believe there are several strings dealing with adding a trailer hitch to the bumper of a trailer.

I've already checked, its legal in Texas, where I'd be doing this as long as I stay under 65 feet.

You may want to check your local laws about doubling up on the trailers. I know there are a few states that allow a 5th wheel to tow a trailer, but haven't heard of any that allow it for regular trailers. I wish they did, I'd like to bring my sailboat with on trips.

Adding a hitch to the rear of my trailer

I have a 2015 Launch 24RLS

I have the need to tow a small box trailer on occasion behind our TT. Loaded weight would be less than 2000 pounds. We have been thinking about adding a bike rack when not towing the box trailer.

Has anyone added such a hitch ? I know the bumper mounted ones aren't sturdy enough and eventually rip the bumper off. Curt makes after market, bolt on, hitches I can install. There are a few models. I am looking at https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00 ... PDKIKX0DER which would put the hitch at the same height as the bumper so the new hitch isn't below the bumper, saving my ground clearance.

Anyone tackled such a project?
