You should see about trying it at home, before there's an issue. Most car jacks will work. The biggest issue is getting them being too tall to get under the axle to lift it when the tire is flat. Also make sure you have a lug wrench for the trailer. Car lug wrenches are usually a different size.

I carry a small floor jack in the tools compartment and a 4 way tire iron. Floor jack is heavy, but, so easy to use. Should also carry a square of plywood in case you need to jack it up when there is grass/dirt underneath or maybe it's even muddy .... think ahead!!

I have a single axle Starcraft 19BH travel trailer. Just wondering what kind of jack do you use to change a flat tire? I don’t think
It came with one so would it be ok to use the car jack? I wouldn’t be able to change it myself but want to be knowledgeable so that if someone else changes the tire that it is done correctly. Thanks!
