High Wind Lift Kit

I would like to install a system to protect my A-frame from high wind damage (and provide assistance during lifting). Aliner (OK I said it, forgive me) has a "high wind lift kit" available for about $250.00 which I think can be fitted onto my Starcraft Comet H1232 hard side pop up. The Aliner mechanism is a simple three-sided aluminum arm mounted to a universal swivel point on the peak of the upper roof panel. It can swing down to help you push up to open the pop up. Once the pop up opens and locks in place, the arm is swung around and secured to a bracket on the lower end of the lower roof panel. Result is excellent structural rigidity for the "A". Does anyone know if Starcraft has something like this, or has any experience with the mechanism? Thanks!! KayakSmurf
