Added LED dimmer

Just ordered the same dimmer. Could you post detailed instructions thanks. &How did you separate the step light

I added this little dimmer to control the LED light under the awning.

The installation was quite simple once I was able to pull enough wire out from behind the awning support leg to tie it in. Now, all I have to do is figure out what the buttons on the remote are for. The explanation in the instructions is pretty bad. While playing with the remote I found out that there are 8 different flashing patterns - I really think those would drive me nuts. All I want to do is dim/brighten the light. I really like the idea that I can turn the LED light off independently of the step lights (I also added a step light to the rear step). I think I have it figured out but I'm not sure - I just need to keep playing with it.
