I can only reply what I have recently found out. I just restored a 1999 Stardust without a readable nameplate. However it was titled and I had the VIN. I contacted Starcraft and they were nice enough to sent a new factory VIN sticker at no cost. My contact I believe was Kirsten Bailey at (800) 945-4787. Perhaps she can provide an answer. Good Luck

Not me. I don’t have any idea. Have you tried the factory?

1974 Starcraft Starmaster 8

Post by minerz » July 22nd, 2020, 7:32 pm

Hi Folks, My Daughter bought a 1974 Starcraft Starmaster 8, pop up camper. She is in hopes of refurbing it. BUT she can't find the VIN. We found a Partial VIN on the Hitch. From what I understand it is supposed to be a 17 number Vin. What I am finding is K43 R OR N. There is a name of Bill Rouse and it looks like a partial phone number. Can anyone tell me if these trailers were titled in 1974. And where else would the Vin be stamped on the frame. I know it is a long shot but I am hoping one of u folks who does a lot with refurbishing older trailer may be able to help me. Long story short she bought it without a title, and Idaho wants a Vin to title it. Thanks to all. Hope ur enjoying the summer
