Hey 2-yota

Where did run power from on the fan inside the trailer next to the speaker?

Thanks
I got power from the adjacent ceiling light and just pulled wire through under the ceiling. Truth be told, for this size trailer, I think having one good fan works pretty well. Most of the time, I just find myself turning on the washroom fan (to exhaust out) and just lifting up the Maxx Fan in the front dining area for the air to passively pull through the trailer (and out through the washroom). I just don't find myself turning on the dining fan as much as I do the washroom fan. But, it's still nice to have the Maxx Fan there because of the built-in rain shield so I can leave the vent open in any weather without worry.

This past summer, I installed two Maxx Air fans into my new-to-me 16BH. I chose this fan because of the built-in rain shield when opened up. And when closed, it is very low profile and clean looking. My trailer had standard passive air vents in it so there was no wiring there for the new fans. I just took power from the adjacent ceiling lamp to power the fans. This was also a good opportunity for me to reseal the roof since I had the old vents out.

Roof fan install for 2017 Sattelite RB17

Post by dink5539 » August 22nd, 2021, 12:34 am

I am new to this forum and would appreciate any information on installing a roof fan on my 2017 Sattelite RB17. What type fan recommended and wiring diagram. Is it pre-wired for fan or do I have to pull wiring. Thanks for any information, pictures, or instructions.
