Did you ever find a solution for a replacement? I also have a 16BH and like you, I’ve been carrying a separate 12V compressor fridge/freezer in my truck for the important food items. I only use the trailer fridge to chill drinks and other less perishable food items.

AR-One 12v fridge

I have a 2017 AR-One 16BH. I do 90% boondocking and most of it is in the desert. The fridge never could keep up with the desert heat and now it seems it can't keep up in the shade. I really would prefer to replace it with a 12V compressor fridge. I'm wondering if anyone has had success in doing this for this small-size fridge? I've been bringing a 12v portable chest fridge/freezer but if I'm going to have to replace the original fridge I'd prefer it to be 12V.

I've seen some 12v compressor fridges that are close to fitting but many are really meant for truckers and would be too small. My dealership told me a year or so ago they couldn't find any but I know that 12v fridges are being offered more and more on new models.

Thanks
