Thanks for sharing. I have the same doorway that was closed with a curtain. I replaced it with an acordian door. I think I posted pics of it last year, but here it is again. I'm quite pleased with it and I think it looks like it blends in very well.

I bought the door at Lowes. In the reviews, people were complaining that it was the build quality of a mobile home door...exactly what I was looking for. light weight and thinner than a standard door.

This post was just what I was looking for. We are picking up a new 2018 Launch 27bhu next week and hate that the bedroom only has a curtain!

I did find the track and roller kit on Amazon the other day, but was searching for wood door/install ideas.

We also plan to wrap the door in 3M DiNOC vinyl to match the patterns in the trailer a little better than a stock door. Our business sells and installs these products. Check out all the options at the link below - wood, metal, leather, fabric, you name it... 700 choices :)

Thanks again for the ideas, pics and details. Can't wait to swap our curtain for a door :)

Happy trails... On the road again making memories one trip at a time!

I finally got around to posting pics of my bedroom curtain door replacement. I used a simple eye hook mounted on the end of the door and to the wall to keep stable during transport. The door does not latch (I didn't want to cut into the exterior wall).

Hi, sorry for the delay in response.

We have an AIRMAX 30 bunk house and WE LOVE our unit.

Husband has everything ready to install. He built is own door and YES we are using that track device install as you posted. I forget what he is going to use to secure the door. But I know he has that figured out too. Because of his schedule it could be awhile until the door is actually 'in'. Doesn't stop us from traveling though.
Back to the modification,
Like I said he moved the wall forward by several inches to be in perfect harmony/in line with the solid wood TV/radio/cabinet area.
I can report the change in the wall location does not interfere with anything while walking into the unit from outside. Honestly I didn't notice nor did our kids--.

Is yours completed by now?

How will you secure it so that it isn't sliding back and forth banging during transit?
There will be a gap at the bottom of about an inch from the floor. The opening is right at 25" wide. The door I will be installing is 28". I'll install a "U" shaped guide at the base of the door near the frame to keep it from swinging. I might have to fabricate that if I can't find something that will work. My biggest concern is making sure I hit the bottom of the roof truss when I screw it into the ceiling.
If you don't duct tape is wonderful.
