nice install.

Most car dashes that would be installed in are tight as well, so I am not sure why you would have an overheat issue.

Seems like a call to the manufacturer might be in order.

Radio DVD Replacement

Post by dianescraps » May 31st, 2016, 2:31 am

We had a problem with a Furion DVD player on one of our first trips, it ate a DVD, and then would randomly turned on. After doing some research is seemed best to just replace it and move on. We are not the handiest of people but we found a unit on Amazon with a similar wiring set up and went with it. We picked up BOSS AUDIO BV8970B Single-DIN 7 inch Touchscreen DVD Player Installation went pretty easily, the only thing we will note about the replacement unit is it can overheat ( solved by not leaving radio on for the dogs when we are not in the camper) I think we will eventually figure out a way to get some more venting into that area

Picture of unit installed is attached.
