1.7M is pretty large. To be honest, too large to even post in a forum, not everyone is using monitors that can even display pics that big. If you are uploading a banner, they are limited to 1200 pixel width. I wouldn't upload a pic larger than 1500px wide (or tall). php limitations come into play .... I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly what the limitation is set to. Scale the image down to a manageable size and it will upload.

What's the maximum file size we can attach?

I'm trying to attach a helicopter shot of Dinosaur Trail RV Park and Cabins in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada, but it's too big at 1.7 megabytes (and shrunk to 620KB).

Pictures do not have to be panorama, any picture where a piece can be used in our header will work. I can cut that piece out or you can cut that piece out. The actual size of our header images are 1152 X 170 pixels.
