Howdy,
Westend (Lance) here, owner of a '71 Wanderstar 220--"The Cowboy/Hilton". I put some pictures and info in the "Others" section about my rig. I'm a semi-retarded residential building contractor, living in Shorewood, MN. My wife of 30 yrs., Rita and I have three adult children, one in Brooklyn, NY and the other two still in MN. We hope to get out on the road more in the upcoming years. Hoping for low gas prices (aren't we all :D :D ).

We purchased a new Jayco X23J hybrid in 2011 and then moved up to a new 2015 Starcraft Galaxy Star 299BHU spring of 2014. What motivated our purchase of the newest trailer was a planned trip out west last summer. I just couldn't fathom many days of travel in a row having to tip in and out the bunks of the X23J. Otherwise it was the perfect trailer, I loved the open air feeling and sleeping in tent like surroundings. We are mostly State Park campers, the more space between trailers the better.
Welcome todd.

Did you end up taking that trip out west?

Me and the wife are considering a trip to Yellowstone soon too.

Tell us more about you trip.
