Safety braces for '96 Space Flyer?

We just recently bought a 1996 Space Flyer pop-up. I know some pop-ups have safety braces that go into the corners in case a cable or winch fails. My well used pop-up did not come with any of these braces. I have been looking around online but have not found a definitive answer. Perhaps you folks can help me out .
