You probably need to clean out the aerator. Unscrew it from the faucet and clean it out.

Hi, our kitchen sink only dribbles, but the shower and all other faucets has great pressure.

Did you find a fix?

We were glad it was a simple fix too, though a little mad at ourselves for not thinking of it, we had crawled around and looked for kinks and other issues, but missed the easy check.

I'm glad it was a "simple" fix!

Thank you so much! The answer - construction debris in the aerator!

dianescraps wrote:We purchased our Starcarft 28 QBS the end of last summer. One of the biggest frustrations we have is the extremely slow piddle of water that comes out of the kitchen faucet. We do not have this problem with the bathroom sink or the toilet. We have traced the piping as far as we can, we see no pinches or anything. The faucet also has a very slow response time to being turned on and off.

Anyone else have this problem - or have this model and not have this problem?

Thanks!
Is it cold and hot water? If so you probably have an obstruction in the faucet, or a defective faucet.

I think my next move would be to get a bucket, remove the water line from the faucet, and then have someone turn on the pump and watch the discharge as it flows into the bucket. If the volume/pressure looks OK, then your problem is in the fixture itself. If the flow seems weak/slow then your problem is an obstruction somewhere in the line.
Good luck!

I have to take the aerators apart clean the screens on my faucets 3-4 times a year, and that's using an outside filter.

Maybe the hose has an obstruction?

This may seem simple, but have you checked the screen in the faucet? It sounds like there may be some "construction" debris stuck somewhere in the line/faucet.

Good luck
