Buzzbait, then you got a great deal. I did as well, but I bough my trailer second hand. It was used 6months then the owners traded it in on a motorhome. I saved quite a bit, but I did loose the 2 year warranty. I hope the first owner had any issues dealt with before me taking ownership. Time will tell. I'm thrilled with the trailer so far.

Gary, no battery AND no spare tire  BUT I got it a grand cheaper than anywhere else I looked.

ANYWAYS. .. I figured it out! The wires are for the ZAMP "ready" solar system.
Thanks everyone!

I find it hard to believe your trailer didn't come with at least one battery? Mine came with two! Ive just never heard of a dealer selling a trailer without at least one battery. Is this common and I'm just ignorant of the fact?

Starcraft said that a battery was a dealer add on. I should contact the dealer. Dealer never returned my email. Like starcraft built the thing.... but they don't know what the wires go to !

Im in Huntsville Alabama. I'm 90% sure the blue wire is positive because it goes to a 12v breaker but I'd rather be 100%.I've got a email into the dealer. Lets see how good there customer support is :D

You can pull out your power center (where the fuses and breakers are) and take some pix ... white negative can be easily verified behind the power center

On my AR One white is negative and green is positive. Batteries are nothing to guess about. There is no limit to the power one can pull from a battery ... please for your own good, have someone electrically inclined have a look at things ... you in dallas??

Battery Installation

Post by buzzbait00 » November 1st, 2016, 11:22 pm

Hello all!
I recently purchased a 2016 AR-ONE 18QB. It didn't come with a battery  I've installed one but can't figure out what these two wires are for and which connects to positive and negative. Any ideas?
