A lot of the old pictures got corrupted and/or went missing. Congratulations on the new trailer, Kechika!! Here is us at our campsite in the Ashley National Forest September 2015. Flaming Gorge overlook was a short walk, a few steps, really, and a herd of big horn sheep were grazing in the campground in plain view the entire time we were there. Enjoy that trailer, we sure do!!

How do you handle the lack of 110v outlets when dry camping?

Do you have an inverter?

We actually do have a small invertor. I only use it for antenna amp (if needed) and to power a laptop and charge camera batteries (I typically charge camera batteries in the Tow Veh on a different invertor). We don't use 110 much at all when dry camping. The only two items in the trailer we do need 110 for are the AC and the Microwave. We can do almost everything else with 12V and/or propane. Coffee is something of a pain ..... like tea bags and a tea kettle. We really don't miss not having 110 when dry camping

We are loving every minute of our first travel trailer!!

This is Us. 2015 Starcraft AR-1 15RB Hybrid Dry Camping at one of the National Forest Campgrounds at Flaming Gorge this past summer. It is definitely modified from its original configuration.

100W solar
Dual Propane Tanks
Dual Batteries
Added a hinge for the dinette to "fold" down
Added additional storage underneath
Added usb charge ports in the "pop out" bedroom as well as in the main cabin
Added Additional 12VDC plugs
Installed TV / TV mounts / Bigger Antenna

I also discovered that the factory wired the antenna booster incorrectly .... not sure if this was a one off mistake or it happens on a lot of starcraft trailers .... nor do I know what problems it might cause.

I have 2 near future mods in mind .... over the tongue bike rack and behind the trailer shelf and generator / tool box. Figure the two mods will offset each other and stabilize the tongue weight.

Hoping to get out for our first weekend tomorrow. Finally got some good weather, and hopefully for good. Looking forward to see how the seasonal thing works out.
