Nice job on the fan installation. Looks nice. I wasn’t interested in getting on the roof and removing the old vent so I went with the short cut. I was looking at the Vortex I and II but couldn’t pull the trigger on the money. Ended up getting one of those replacement d shaft motor and 6 in blades. Only $25 bucks and came with a toggle switch which allows for both exhaust and fan settings. Fairly noisy but definitely gets the job done. Best of luck to you in your RV travels.

Good to know about the Oxygenics shower head. We are still on the water heater with the small 15 gal gray tank so every bit I can conserve is good.

And good call on the vent fans ... I also replaced the vents with fans in my trailer too. I posted up a few pictures of what I did in another thread here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5557

I don't know the vice grip was a good look🤣 Hope this gives you some solutions to the problem. As for the oxygenics shower head, it does have the on/off button so you can shut it down without turning water off. Do note when in the off position a dribble of water will still pour out of the head. This is by design so water temp isn't too hot/cold when turning it back on. This head also does a great job of conserving water use while it is on. Very important when we had the old 6 gal water heater and of course the 15gal gray water tank. We have a tankless water heater now so when camping with full hook ups we don’t need the shut off button but still helpful when camping when no access to sewer. The other thing we did to help with excess moisture in the bathroom was install a fan in the vent. Our vent did not have a fan so even wide open it didn’t offer much ventilation while showering. The mirror would steam up and there would be condensation on the walls. Now with the fan no fogged up mirror and very little moisture on the walls.

Thanks Dscan for your ideas. The curtain clips and splash guards certainly looks like it will help a lot. Gives me some things to think about. Funny you mention the shower head, I was actually looking into those this past week. I saw the Oxygenics ones amongst others. I'm after one that has an "on/off" switch so we can shut the water off temporarily without having to readjust the temperature setting when we restart.

On another note regarding the bath/shower, during a recent camping trip, the water knob completely disintegrated. The plastic felt old and brittle. I just put on a vise grip to get by during our trip and when I got home, I ordered a replacement knob set. Found it on Amazon and it was the exact identical replacement knob to match the factory one (Valterra Phoenix Faucets Part Number PF287015). Now I've got a spare.

I had the same issues. If the trailer was not 100% level I would either have a pool of water behind the toilet or rolling across the floor from under the bathroom door. As you will see I am a function over form kind of guy. I don’t enough patience to make things look pretty especially when it comes to caulking.

First thing was installing clips to help the shower curtain stay in place.
Second installed the splash guards in each corner.
Third installed the water dam across the lip of the tub and along the bathroom door threshold.

This solved about 95% of the problem. I was still getting an occasional dribble of water coming down the wall along a corner beneath the lip of the tub. Tired of trying to find out how to stop it I did the following

Fourth installed water absorbent toilet rug
Fifth Cut and installed water absorbent mat to fit in the corner where the occasion dribble occurs.

I bought all of these things on amazon. Let me know if you need me to post a link to any of them. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. BTW I also installed a Oxygenics shower head. Literally a 45 second upgrade. Well worth the $30 it costs. Way better than the shower head that came with the trailer.

Hey Chisum98

Don’t know if you solved your tub/shower issue yet. I also have a 15RB and did a couple very easy to do mods which helped considerable. Contact me if you would like details.
I'd be interested to see what your mods are. I have a 16BH but the tub & shower is the same. I've got water dripping off the edge of the tub too. I just use a sponge to soak up the water and try to strategically place the shower curtain to deflect as much water away as possible.

So here is the response I received from Jayco.

"This is how the unit is designed and the walls are not waterproof but water resist. As far as the water on the tub the edges should be silicone allow the water to go in the tub. Should you need further assistance please contact Jayco Customer Service."

Thank you for the suggestion. I reached out to Jayco support to see if the walls are waterproof or not. I included pictures so you can see what I meant.
