You are correct however my fuse holder was bad. If I mashed the fuse in it would work let go and would not work. Replaced the holder and no problems since.

if it works, it's not the fuse. A fuse won't work just sometimes. Sounds like in both of these cases, the jack is not connected to the rv battery. Follow the wires to see where they go or don't go.

Where is the fuse? Mine only works when connected to the tow vehicle.

I had a problem with the fuse holder. If I wiggled the fuse the jack would work. In your case sounds like something is not connected correctly. Did it ever work?

Electric tongue jack

Post by ChrisBr549 » March 16th, 2018, 2:25 pm

My electric tongue jack only works if I am connected to 30 amp service. Fuse is good and battery shows 13 volts. Any ideas why?
