Safety chains

Could you install rims with a wider offset to give you more room for the chains?

Mine were so long they were dragging the ground going over bumps. Looks like what you have in the middle pic should work. I put stiffer springs in the rear of My TV and shortened the chains by 1 link. Mine looks a lot like your middle pic.

Someone really needs to redo the chain mount where it is contacting your wd hitch.

Safety chains

Has anyone experienced the hitch head contacting the safety chains? I have a 2018 20BHS with the Equalizer 4 point system. The safety chains are attached directly behind the coupler, much to close for my WD set up. This is what the dealer sold and installed for me.Image
