Good evening all:
New to Starcraft, but We've been Pop-up RVing for the last 8 years.
We've just purchased a 07 Antiqua 215. Can't wait for the summer to arrive. We've already booked a week in Manitoulin and a week at the Chutes.
Hope you all travel safe.
Kris

The main thing you have to consider when discussing solar is - How much electric current do you think you'll use in a day that needs to be recharged. I did my trailer calcs long ago and it ended up around 350 watts per day used. Then you have to consider the rate of recharge. Anyway, long series of thought later, I settled on a 100W panel and a 20W MPPT (some say it is overkill and PWM is the way to go with a single panel) Controller.

One would reasonably expect approximately 400 watts of recharging in a day with good sun in my scenario.

I have since added a second battery and a second panel, so now I am really using the efficiency of the MPPT controller and PWM would never keep up.

I can send you some info on the equipment I chose to use. Mine is permanently mounted, it could just as easily be assembled as a ground deploy kit with a couple alligator clips to hook up to the battery.

Anxious to go camping again!

We have had a doozy of a winter and I am SO anxious to get camping. Have our first trip planned during spring break (the last week of March) to Juneau State Park in southern Idaho then on to Antelope Island State park in Salt Lake City. The snow finally disappeared here in the Treasure Valley but still plenty in the mountains. I'm hoping the temps while camping are at least in the upper 50's during the daytime. The Antelope Island park is no services at the site so I'm hoping my 2 12volt batteries will hold their charge enough to run the necessities for two nite and 3 days. Looking into a solar battery charger to keep them charged during the day. Does any one have any recommendations about them?

Here is my recent purchase, a 2006 Travel Star XLT 25 TB Toyhauler.

A warm February has me wanting to start camping in March.

We are on the road at the moment ... we spend the holidays at the beach every year.

GaryG that is a nice looking rig! Thanks for showing it!

Tmy8str it will likely support your weight. Not a good idea to walk around and strech and stress the materials .... but to work on and install things should be fine to put your weight up there, just soread the weight as best you can.

I bought my 2016 26HS earlier this year but never posted any pics of it. Might just as well here. We absolutely love the TT. Love the floor plan especially. The framless windows really caught my eye when I first saw it on the internet. Haven't seen another Launch with these.

Well, I finally found my 22RBH and I'm super excited to bring it back to life. I need to replace parts of the floor, which kinda sucks but on well. Before I do that, I'm going to make sure this thing is water tight or all my work will be for nothing. Plan on buying the cleaner and protect stuff as well as the self leveling chalk.

Question, do you know if you can walk on these roofs? I doubt I will anyways but just curious. Also, anything else you think I should be doing to the roof?

Hey guys!

Just signed up on the forum. I just discovered the beauty of Starcraft, in particular the 22RBH. There is a 22RBH in VA that I found for 7k from a dealership. Problem is it's had pretty extensive repairs to the roof and floor from water damage.

So, it has brought me here. Looking to network with you fine folks in search for my 22RBH. If you have any connections or leads, that would be amazing. Or even better someone looking to sell on here.

Thanks for having me on board!

Trevor
